About the initiative
One platform for health, green cover and recognition
Swasthya, Sabuj O Samman was a comprehensive social welfare initiative of Shri Riddhi Navachar Foundation, dedicated to community healthcare, environmental conservation, social responsibility and the recognition of individuals working for the betterment of society.
The programme brought healthcare services, voluntary blood donation, environmental initiatives and the felicitation of frontline social contributors onto a common platform, with the vision of creating a healthier, greener and more responsible society.
What happened on the day
Four pillars, one morning
Nandalal Jew Park, Hazra, from nine in the morning to two in the afternoon.
Free Health Check-up Camp
Free medical consultation and professional healthcare guidance for the community, with doctors seeing patients across five departments. The focus was preventive care, early detection and timely consultation for families who normally postpone both.
“Dayboddhotar Roktodan” — Voluntary Blood Donation
A voluntary blood donation camp organised in association with People’s Blood Bank. The response was encouraging: 110 voluntary donors came forward for a cause that is measured one life at a time.
“Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” — Environmental Conservation
700 trees and saplings were planted and distributed under the initiative, encouraging citizens to take active responsibility for conservation and for the green cover their children will inherit.
Felicitation of Frontline Civil Warriors
100 frontline civil warriors and social contributors were felicitated — police personnel, community health workers, sanitation workers, NGO representatives, cricket coaches and professionals whose work makes the city safer and healthier.
